Our Highbury vet practice is home to our long-standing dedicated team who are well trusted within the local community.  Our team strives to provide the best possible care for their patients and pet owners under their care.

Parking and Accessibility

Metered parking is available near the surgery for clients, and the practice is connected to public transport links. We’re right next door to Canonbury Overground station, the Highbury & Islington tube station is a 10-minute walk away, and the Essex Road National Rail station is a 15-minute walk away.

Please note this practice is located within the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

What to do in the Event of an Emergency

In the event of a veterinary emergency, or if your pet is unwell out of hours our hospitals offer your pets a dedicated emergency service, and the reassurance of knowing we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

Caroline works at the practice every Friday so that Louise can benefit from a well-earned rest! Caroline qualified from Glasgow in 2000 and then spent her first year in practice in New York in a cat hospital before returning to the UK and working in rural Buckinghamshire for three years before settling in London. Caroline has a particular interest in rabbit nutrition and preventative healthcare and has a cat called Wilbur. Caroline is an Official Veterinarian [OV] which means that she is authorised to issue pet passports and complete export health certificates. When she is not working or being Mum, Caroline enjoys running and cycling.

Emily studied Animal Management and worked in a variety of animal based workplaces including zoos, veterinary clinics and groomers in London and in Kent. After starting a family Emily is resuming her career in the veterinary profession and joined the team at Highbury in 2020.  Emily looks forward to qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in the future. She has a keen interest in animal behaviour and wellbeing, and her favourite part of the job is theatre and recovery, and earning the trust with the patients to create special relationships.

Rebekah joined the team at Highbury in in 2023.  She was born and bred in a small town on the West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand relocated to London at the end of 2022. Rebekah oves being part of a veterinary team and outside of work enjoys getting outdoors, exploring, all things coffee, and sport, especially hockey. Her first ‘child’, a fluffy little black cat called Lottie, is currently being babysat by her grandparents back home in New Zealand.

Caroline has over 20 years experience working in managerial roles within the veterinary and hospitality industries, and she joined the Goddard Veterinary Group in 2019. Caroline has a passion for developing business and supporting individuals and teams to maximise their own potential. Outside of work creativity is her main focus with stained glass, print making, painting and drawing on the list of many hobbies. Caroline lives in West London and she enjoys the energy of the city but also the opportunity just to relax with her two adorable cats who are credited for her move into the veterinary industry.
